The Sand City Opera is different from any other opera company. Our motto is
"Great Unusual Opera for All'. You will not hear a great deal of the fifty or so
operas which costitute the standard fare of nearly all opera companies.
Our concerts always provide a background of the times, places and politics as
well as "mini-biographies" of the composer. In this difficult economic time the
Sand City Opera Company operates within its budget and may prove to be a
template for small opera companies aiming to survive. Bravo! |
